Resolving the 'Server has a different version with client' error

Here are some steps you can take to address the issue if you encounter this error message when attempting to enter the virtual office.

The "Server has a different version with client" error message commonly arises when the Co. Society application is running during an update. As a result, the version of the client you have open differs from the newer version on the server.

Additionally, this issue can sometimes be attributed to firewall settings that hinder the proper download of the update, resulting in an unsupported software version on your computer.

To resolve this error, follow these steps:

  1. Exit Co. Society: To begin, close the Co. Society application completely. You can do this by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del and selecting the option to access the task manager ("aktivitetshanteraren" in Swedish). Look for the process named "Co. Society" in the list and terminate it. This ensures that the application is properly closed before attempting to launch it again.

  2. Restart the application: After ensuring that the previous instance of Co. Society has been closed, launch the software once more. This can be done by locating the Co. Society icon on your desktop or in the menu "All apps" in the Windows start menu.

If the error message persists even after following these steps, it is recommended to contact Co. Society's Service Desk for further assistance. They will be able to provide additional guidance and support to resolve the issue. You can contact them through the support form.
