To adjust your perspective when you're not moving, simply utilize the same controls as when altering your direction while walking.
To enable view control, simply press and hold the right button of your mouse or touchpad. This will allow you to explore different angles of the room or view your colleagues from alternative directions. In the third person view, you even have the option to look at yourself while speaking.
While keeping the right button pressed, you can easily navigate by moving the mouse or swiping on the touchpad to change your perspective.
